Tear Jerker / Pokémon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life

• Arceus' Heroic BSoD as he's being buried in silver water and dying. Poor guy just sounds so heartbroken.
  Arceus: Why...
  • When Sheena appears before him (thinking she has the jewel) and tells him Damos was going to betray him. Arceus is genuinely stunned.
  • Notice before the time travel, when Arceus first meets Sheena. For a brief moment he mistakes her for Damos. Seems even in his rage, he hasn't forgotten what his old friend meant to him.
  • Not to mention that when he's dying, Ash brings him the Jewel of Life. Arceus is so damn weakened, furious and betrayed he doesn't accept it. Hell, he doesn't even move or speak in response. It seemed that he'd already given up.
• Ash and Pikachu slowly disappearing as Arceus supposedly dies, which gives them no reason to come to the past in the first place.
• When Ash and his friends come back to the future, Palkia, Giratina, and Dialga are all lying unconscious as a still enraged Arceus fights on.
  Ash: (anguished) No Arceus! No!
