Trina's family isn't very wealthy, so when they organize a big dinner party for Zane and his father inviting a lot of people over and preparing plenty of good food it's a big deal, but then Zane finds his camera destroyed before everyone finds the dining room in utter caos with broken plates, food scattered everywhere and Rocky and Wilbur sitting at the table. The book describes that everyone is speechless and devastated at this unexplainable catastrophe, while Trina's dad comforts her crying mother before furiously taking the dummies back in the attic.
