- Any time a Mikey goes missing or is separated from their family, the brothers have such a crushing air of betrayal around them. Without fail, every Raph is furious when their Mikey is taken.
- When we finally catch up to Universe 2007, they have not been having a good time being benched. In the two weeks since last seeing them, the lair has been very quiet. April and Casey check in everyday to make sure the family is holding up and Splinter has been praying to every God and ancestor that would listen for his son's return. The turtles all seriously regret listening when they were told to stay behind, rightfully so.
- When Leo sees that 87 has been brainwashed, he laments that despite his annoyance at the 87 turtles, he still liked them and is sad to see their Michelangelo there.
- The final fight against Master Michelangelo... Oh Boy...
- Chapter 42, aptly titled 'Everything Goes Wrong' is dedicated to each team that is present being forced to watch their Mikeys lose their cores and become completely empty and lifeless.
- Ronin is just about to hug his brothers after finally getting them back when he gets pierced. As Katana cries, he points out that they only just got to be reunited.
- Likewise, the 2012 turtles have finally gotten their Splinter back, only to have their baby brother taken away. As Raph watches his family gather around Michael, he lets out a roaring scream.
- The IDW turtles try to run with their Mikey, only to hear a pair of nun chucks fall to the ground when they're not looking.
- As Crusader grieves, he notes that Skate's last words were his name.
- Mike chooses to keep fighting despite his brothers' pleas and gets caught while in dragon form. His brothers are so devastated, Raph punches at the dragon in a desperate attempt to get him to wake up.
- For the 2007 turtles, they find Pizza while brainwashed, and he doesn't recognize them. It's only when he's caught by a chain that the brainwashing wears off and he confusedly asks his brothers' what's going on before losing his core.
- Wrath punches the ground after it happens to Party, and all Leader can think is that that sums up how he feels.
- At the very end of the chapter, Red sacrifices himself for Mikey.
- Master Michelangelo’s family is rightfully horrified by what he’s done, but what makes matters worse is that they blame themselves for how bad he’s gotten.
- Casey Jr. is forced to watch his entire family from the future die again after a very brief reunion. Master Michelangelo sacrifices himself in the hopes that it will bring Mikey back to life. The Rise family, especially Leo, are devastated when it doesn't work.
- When the other three main Mikeys do manage to bring him back to life, Orange is still in a coma a year later.
