Tear Jerker / Moving Pictures (Discworld)

• Gaspode and Laddie's (Good boy Laddie) near-Death experience, with a maimed Gaspode squaring off against Death to protect Laddie.
  • It doesn't help when you learn that this scene was going to be real.
• A drunken Gaspode recounting his first memories to Laddie. Which was him in a sack, thrown into the river Ankh to drown. It's little wonder he turned out so bitter.
