Tear Jerker / Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake

• The aftermath of Outer Heaven. Then the realization that the staff in Outer Heaven were people you recruited in The Phantom Pain. The biggest Player Punch? Outer Heaven had children within the base.
• Natasha/Gustava's death. She is implied to have fallen for Snake, as she seems to be trying to tell him this with her last words.
• Gray Fox's death. Fox tells Snake that he's only ever known war and believes that he can't make a woman happy. Snake tells Fox that Gustava is waiting for him on the other side. To hammer it home, the song playing during this scene is actually titled "Tears".
• Big Boss' first death. Despite the fires consuming him, he still tries desperately to hold his ground, screaming "It's not over yet!". Which soon turns into him groaning Snake's name as he dies. And that's not even getting to what happens to him between then and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots...
