Tear Jerker / Konoha Hiden: The Perfect Day for a Wedding

• The fact that Temari doesn't think she is good enough for someone like Shikamaru to marry. At that moment, you realize that Temari still sees herself as a Broken Bird and not attractive. Despite the fact she is one of the most beautiful and attractive characters in the series.
• Teuchi's flashback to the day he met Naruto. He had seen the little boy (based on his descritption, Naruto is 4-5 years old) wandering outside his store for days, approaching as if to enter but always hesitating and walking away. So, one night he calls out to the kid, asking him if he wants a bowl of ramen. The boy jumps in fear after hearing someone shouting at him; then, he slowly walks towards Teuchi, shaking from fear and nerves. It's like he's expecting the ramen-maker to yell at him -or worse.
  • This is somewhat shown in one of the later ending sequences for Shippuden which starts with Teuchi beckoning in a very young Naruto from the rain, only to see Naruto get nervous and run off. He later shows up again and this time he takes Teuchi up on his offer. Naruto's smile is brilliant.
  • Teuchi later learns that Naruto is an orphan and that everyone in the village shuns him for some reason. One of his customers tells him -in a completely matter-of-fact tone, no less- that he should do what the other shopkeepers do and ban the boy from entering this store ever again. Hearing this, Teuchi is furious.
  • Teuchi knows that when one of his shinobi customers stops coming, that means they've probably died on a mission. And, since he hadn't seen Naruto for many weeks, he couldn't help but fear that the boy had been killed. Thankfully, another customer told him that Naruto just went on a long training trip with Jiraiya.
• The search for the perfect wedding present will be Team 8's final mission: Kurenai, Kiba, Shino and Hinata will never be a four man squad again. They're all aware of this and they resolve to offer the best wedding gift possible to Hinata and Naruto. Doubles as heartwarming.
• After driving himself to exhaustion trying to think of what to bring as his gift, Rock Lee passes out and has a dream of seeing Neji. That's sad enough, but then when he wakes up, he realizes that his memories of his deceased friend are growing fainter all the time.
