Bullies
  • Captain Black nearly getting killed by the Dragon Talisman-empowered Valmont.

The Rock

  • Jade's distress at Jackie's slow transformation into stone and desperation to prevent it. When he has transformed fully, she and Uncle are both sad until they figure out to use the Horse Talisman to cure him.
    Jade: Oh Jackie.
    Uncle: He was very brave.
    Jade: I'll miss him Uncle.
    Uncle: He left a fine memorial for us. Looks just like him.
    Jade: (sniffs) We could... put him in the garden.
    Uncle: Or outside the shop, to ward away evil.

Day of the Dragon

  • Jade's sadness at having to return back home.
    • Jackie, Uncle and the recently reformed Tohru are rather downcast after she leaves.

The Warrior Incarnate

The Curse of El Chupacabra

  • After El Toro is scratched by the Chupacabra, he has to turn into a monster every night, and cannot walk in the sunlight. He has to be chained down in a dark cave for the safety of himself and others, until his friends can find a cure for him.

The Lotus Temple

  • The story of Xu Lin. She wandered off into the bamboo forest five years earlier and found shelter in the eponymous temple, only to be trapped inside it and forced to transform painfully into a monster and attack whenever there are intruders inside the temple.
    Xu Lin: The previous guardian found the means to escape. I've searched five years for that secret and have not found it. I miss my family so much.

Tale of the Demon Tail

  • During the episode, Hsi Wu disguised himself as a boy named "Seymour" and pretended to befriend Jade to manipulate her. After Hsi Wu's defeat, we briefly see that Jade is deeply upset to discover than "Seymour" was a False Friend all along.

Danger in the Deep Freeze

  • At the end, Jade bids farewell to the friendly prehistoric man Dwayne. Realizing that it's better to let him live in the Arctic, rather than bring him to civilization.

The Eighth Door

  • Jackie, Uncle, and Tohru despair after seeing Jade getting sucked through the portal to the Netherworld, leaving her trapped with only vengeful demons for company. But still though, they set off to rescue her by carefully opening another portal.

    Season 3 
Re-Enter the Dragon
  • Jade's Big "NO!" upon seeing Scruffy have the power of Immortality drained from him by Shendu.

A Night at the Opera

  • A rift occurs between Uncle and his old friend Wing. Fortunately, the pair are able to patch things up by the end of the episode.

Attack of the J-Clones

  • Captain Black is legitimately hurt to learn that Jackie doesn't know when his birthday is.

Deja Vu

  • When Jackie is sent back in time to the very first episode of the series, he tries to send Jade back to Hong Kong just minutes after she got to the antique shop. Jade, who is watching this in the present, tries to tell him he needs her. As much as Jackie tries to deny it, he needs Jade to get him out of trouble.

    Season 5 
Mirror, Mirror
  • Uncle knew that his childhood home was sinking and there was nothing he could do about it but to watch. He knows what's happening and that it's only a matter of time before it's submerged underwater.

The Powers That Be (Part 2)

  • Tohru's Disney Death and Uncle's reaction to finding him apparently dead in the rubble of Section 13.
