Tear Jerker / For Life

• In the episode "Do Us Part", Aaron represents fellow prisoner Nathan as he fights to marry his fiancee Tricia who is dying of cancer. They are successful and the two marry in the prison, and retreat to the conjugal visit trailer to hold each other for what is likely the last time.
• In Aaron's second case after his release, he discusses with his client the opportunity to take a deal for a lesser prison term of four years, rather than risk a 25-years sentence if she is convicted at trial. Aaron laments that he did not take a deal when he had the chance, since he could have got back some of the years he lost with his family. The client and her husband tearfully decide that she will take the deal so that when she comes out, she will still be able to watch their son grow up.

• Aaron is devastated when he gets the phone call that Andy Josiah (who was shot in the back and paralyzed by a police officer) has suffered a blood clot to his brain and will be taken off life support.
