Tear Jerker / Foodfight!

• Dex loses his girlfriend, an anthropomorphic cat named "Sunshine Goodness", to an apparent kidnapping and he gives up being a detective as a result, often obsessed with his grief over the tragedy.
• Priscilla Pusly's villainous nature and the kidnapping of Sunshine Goodness occurred because Priscilla was allegedly considered "too ugly" to be appealing. The other characters circle around her and repeatedly mock her for being unattractive (kind of ironic considering most of the characters are physically ugly or repulsive-looking), but Priscilla reveals that she even "went to Brazil and had surgery" to look more appealing and to transform into Lady X.
• There are some brief death scenes:
  • Numerous Ikes are killed and their bodies are seen on-screen (though not particularly graphic).
  • Polar Penguin is mortally wounded and dies on-screen in Dex's arms.
  • The bag of chips that Mr. Clipboard brutally crushes.
  • Lieutenant X is shot/poisoned to death and falls unconscious on-screen; the sadness of the moment is averted by his distinctly Nazi attire and his sexually fetishistic remark that he has peed his pants and it "feels rather nice... (moans loudly)".
• When one of Lady X's Brand X henchmen is defeated, he admits that he doesn't even like Lady X and only joined her because she promised to help him with his personal image.
