Tear Jerker / Die Hard

• Tell my wife "John said 'I'm sorry'". She's heard me say "I love you." a thousand times. She's never heard me say "I'm sorry." You tell her that.
• Why does Al ride a desk?
  Al: What, you don't think jockeying paper is a noble effort for a cop?
  John: Nope!
  Al: I shot a kid. He was thirteen. He had a ray gun looked real enough. They can teach you everything about being a cop, but they can't teach you how to live with a mistake.
  John: I'm sorry.
  Al: Hey, man, you didn't know.
  John: I feel like shit anyway.
