Tear Jerker / Brotherhood of the Wolf

• For animal lovers, seeing so many wolves being hunted and slaughtered for sport under the pretense of hunting down the Beast (which is believed to be a big wolf). Especially for someone like Mani, who's a Nature Hero and actually bonds with the wildlife in a way.
  • It thus becomes cathartic when the Non-Action Big Bad responsible for said wolf-culling gets killed by... a pack of wolves, in the climax.
• Mani getting outnumbered, shot, tortured and killed. Fronsac has to perform the autopsy of his Only Friend and brother in everything but blood himself, and a Roaring Rampage of Revenge ensues later on.
• It really looks like Marianne died after being brutally raped by her brother, and Fronsac has the appropriate reaction when he finds her unconscious. Fortunately, she's not dead.
