As badass as this group can be, they still have a few sad moments in their songs.
- "Instant Death" from Hello Nasty is best described as someone regretting everything they've done, to the point all they can hope for is to die without suffering.
- The song is especially poignant in the documentary Beastie Boys Story, where it accompanies the segment discussing the untimely death of the band's longtime friend Dave Scilken.
- Coldplay's cover of "Fight for Your Right"
is absolutely heartbreaking especially in light of the deaths of Yauch and Berry.So we're sending all of our love to the Beastie Boys
