Tear Jerker / Backstrom

• In "Give Till It Hurts", Backstrom attempts to ask his ex for another chance at their relationship. When she rejects him, he heads for the bar, as visibly saddened as we ever see him get.

• In the season 1 finale almost all of it can count but the last ten minutes after Backstrom's corrupt sheriff abusive father has to hand over his gun and badge and stares his son down the whole time to Backstrom going with Valentine to where his mother's ashes were scattered and the kicker at the end when he goes to an AA meeting and breaks down into tears at the podium in front of all those people... some one pass the tissues
