  • Consider Darc - he had to bury both his parents. His substitute parent treated him as a slave. The Reveal to Yewbell causes Kharg to be run out of town.
• The first chapter has a Deimos tell the party that they killed his wife and child. None of the humans are injured, implying the wife and child did not fight back. The party responds by chasing the grieving father away. When Paulette loses her father to the attack, she calls the Deimos a monster for killing him, oblivious to the fact that her father died murdering a child in cold blood.
