Poor Kitano...
- The entire concept alone, given that he is a genuine nice guy who simply wishes to make friends and is treated so poorly.
- Act 11 has Kitano breaking down crying & being disgusted with himself because of his appearance and the assumptions it causes.Kitano: I can't believe I'm crying over this... I'm so pathetic. I'm not used to being trusted, but... I just felt so disgusted with myself right then...Ryoko: Y-You're just... a normal person.
- It's doubly awful because at first, the reader is likely to agree with everyone that Kitano legitimately looks unnerving and dangerous.
