Tear Jerker / Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem

• Kelly's sadness about how her daughter has a hard time reconnecting with her after the end of Kelly's military service.
• Darcy's search for her husband and son, both of whom already died early on.
• Tim being killed in front of his wife and daughter.
• Ricky's grief-stricken reaction when Jesse gets whacked by Wolf's flying shurikens just a few hours after their Childhood Friend Romance kicks off.
• The entire film can be considered one giant tearjerker for the humans. Over the course of a single day, the entirety of Gunnison, a town of around 5,000 people, is wiped out by a violent battle between two alien races. Thousands of innocent men, women and children slaughtered simply because they were caught in the crossfire of two species' ancient conflict. Even worse, considering the nature of the US government regarding cover-ups, it's unlikely anyone will ever know why an entire town disappeared seemingly overnight. Imagine if some of those people had family elsewhere? They would never know what happened to their loved ones.
