- Sandler does a Mood Whiplash in his comedy special 100% Fresh, in which his second-to-last song becomes a tribute to his late friend Chris Farley, about how Farley was the funniest person he ever met and the best friend he ever had and how Farley's death still hurts Sandler to this day. It's such a sweet, heartwarming moment, and the softness of the song is enough to make a viewer ask "Wait, did Adam Sandler just make my eyes water?"
- After Norm Macdonald's death in 2021, Adam amended the line "I still wish you were here with me / And we were getting on a plane to go shoot Grown Ups 3" to include Norm, too.
