Jurassic Park: Danger! Adventure Strategy Game is a board game made in 2018 by Ravensburger, based on the film Jurassic Park. Made for 2-5 players, one person plays as the three dinosaurs, while the other players are the human characters who must work together to escape the island. If three humans are eliminated, the Dinosaurs win.

Each of the ten main human characters from the film are playable, and each of them has their own special goal and abilities. Both the humans and the Dinosaurs move by playing cards labeled "Run", "Climb", or "Sneak", but the human characters must roll the die high enough to successfully climb or sneak. The humans also have cards labeled "Distract" (to avoid getting attacked) and "Free Action" (which do different things depending on the character).

The human characters must obtain their Goal Token, as well as activate the Visitor Center, Control Center, and Maintenance Shed, before the helicopter can arrive and allow them to escape. If there are 2-3 players, two characters must escape. If there are 4-5 players, three characters must escape.

This board game provides examples of:

  • Back Stab: Dinosaurs can do this if they're sneaking.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Both Grant and Muldoon have this as their Free Action, allowing them to move one character from an adjacent space into theirs, and from their space to one adjacent, respectively.
  • Butt-Monkey: Nedry and Gennaro definitely, considering their drawbacks. Nedry must always be the target of a Dinosaur attack, while Gennaro loses his Goal Token if he's attacked.
  • Critical Hit: The Tyrannosaurus rex has this as her Dinosaur Action. Normally, when a Dinosaur attacks a human, they burn one of the human's cards. When her Action is activated, the T.rex can burn two cards.
  • Color-Coded Characters
    • John Hammond - White
    • Dr. Alan Grant - Orange
    • Dr. Ellie Sattler - Pink
    • Dr. Ian Malcolm - Black
    • Robert Muldoon - Brown
    • Ray Arnold - Blue
    • Tim Murphy - Cyan
    • Lex Murphy - Purple
    • Donald Gennaro - Green
    • Dennis Nedry - Yellow
    • Dinosaurs - Red
  • Dirty Coward: Gennaro, but he has to be to not lose his Goal Token.
  • Draw Aggro: What the Distract card does. Grant and Muldoon must do this to the T.rex and Velociraptor respectively to obtain their Goal Token. This is also Nedry's drawback, since if he and another character are sharing a space, Nedry must always be the target of a Dinosaur attack.
  • The Gambler: In order to obtain his Goal Token, Malcolm must guess whether his die roll will come up as even or odd.
  • Implacable Man: When the Raptor uses her Dinosaur Action to move two spaces in a straight line, it allows her to bypass cliffs and deactivated electric fences without having to play a "Climb" card.
  • Little Miss Badass: Every character has two "Free Action" cards that do the same thing, but Lex has two entirely different ones that do different things.
  • Mr. Fixit: Ray Arnold can activate or deactivate the electric fences as his Free Action, as long as he's at the Maintenance Shed, Control Center, or Visitors Center. Nedry's Free Action lets him activate or deactivate one electric fence.
  • My Greatest Failure: Hammond starts with his Goal Token, but if any other character is eliminated while he is in play, it must be discarded.
  • No-Sell: If a human character is sneaking, a Dinosaur can't attack them. When the Control Center is activated, it, the Visitors Center, and the Maintenance Shed, are now considered safe zones that the Dinosaurs cannot enter. Once the Maintenance Shed has been activated, you can turn on all electric fences in the park, meaning no one can pass them.
  • Patchwork Map: Built randomly from interchangeable hexes (12 perimeter, 6 center), although the starting space is always in the middle, and the locations of the Visitors Center, Control Center, and the Maintenance Shed, are always the same, regardless of the tile that gets placed there.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Gennaro's Free Action, justified since he loses his Goal Token if he's attacked even once.
  • Super Spit: The Dilophosaurus, naturally, gets this as her Dinosaur Action, allowing her to attack a human from an adjacent space unless an activated electric fence is between them.
