• In The Amazing Digital Circus, every expletive is censored with a random sound, ala Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Caine later explains she can't curse in the circus because it's a game made for all ages. It gets a Lampshade when Pomni first swears.
• In Angry Dog, every naughty word is censored with a duck's quack. This is a Running Gag Censor of the show.
• Every expletive in Epic Meal Time is covered by a crow caw... as is at least one instance of the word "vegetables".
• The parody series Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time uses sheep bleating.
• Although the Smosh episodes contain bad words, in this video, when Anthany sees that Sonic's shoes are wrong, and tries to swear, it gets bleeped out. Also, some videos have a bleep in it.
• The SCP Foundation uses [EXPLETIVE REDACTED] whenever someone swears in a report.

• Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: The Abridged Series masks its swear words (including 'bloody', since it's created by Brits) with power drill sounds (quite appropriate) and the voice of Colin Mochrie from Whose Line Is It Anyway? going "Meeow."
• 50% OFF uses animal cries based on the team's Animal Motifs. Haru's are dolphin noises, Nagisa's are seals barks, and so on.
  • Except that Nagisa's animal is a penguin, not a seal, so you'd expect his swears to be accompanied by a penguin squawking.
• Washu in episode 17 (part 2) of Tenchi Muyo Abridged has her own rant of this type.

• Metal Gear Solid The Abridged Snakes uses the alert sound, of course. It's used in the theme song ("America (F(!) Yeah!)") to great effect.
• Happens in Mario and Luigi's Stupid and Dumb Adventures, in which sometimes, a swear is bleeped out. There was also an episode title for Episode 4 called, WHAT THE F*CK, where Mario says, "PEACH, WHAT THE F*CK." In Episode 5, during the scene when Luigi thinks the cloned Mario (via copier) is the real Mario, and the real Mario is the fake one, Mario and Luigi argue about who is the real Mario, which had bleeps, and then, right before Mario says that the clone is not the real Mario, Luigi says, "Stop saying-" and then the bleep is heard. Later on, Mario once again swears when Luigi gets out a gun, which resulted in a bleep. In Episode 1, the bleep was introduced, when Luigi runs off crying, the bleep is heard.

• In the Retsupurae video, What The (CENSORED), The Lets Player, Raven Rage, ends up peppering his entire video with nothing but these, drowning out the rest of his play of Super Mario Bros. 3, leaving slowbeef, Diabeetus and Proteus very confused and wondering if they can find other sounds elsewhere.
• The Cracked rap video "F#@K Batman: Why Gotham Would Hate the Caped Crusader" uses this a lot during the "F-[BOOM] Batman!" refrain.
• During this video in which DeliciousCinnamon make Volcano Bakemeat, all instances of swearing are censored using a Pidgey's cry.
• One creative soul on YouTube— if the attributions on some copies of the video are to be believed, it's Neil Cicierega— censored every instance of the word "count" used as a verb from The Count Song. As a result, it sounds like Count Von Count is doing some very interesting things to the spiders on the wall... and the cobwebs in the hall... and the candles on the shelf... and when he is alone, he [bleep!] himself.
• There's a YouTube video of "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid with every instance of "kiss" replaced with [BLEEP].
• Used twice by The Angry Video Game Nerd, a series which normally contains copious amounts of un-bleeped swearing.
  • In the Action 52 episode, he pokes fun at the way television censors swearing.
    Nerd: Whoever came up with this is an asshole!
    [The Nerd is suddenly framed by a TV set with "TV Version" written underneath]
    Nerd: Whoever came up with this is an ass[bleep]! [looks into the camera] Ass! [pauses for several seconds] Hole? [pauses again] Ass[bleep]! [shaking his head] Television makes a lot of sense.
  • In the Godzilla episode, after reviewing all of the shitty Godzilla games of his youth, he finds that modern ones are a lot better, and is furious that he didn't get to grow up with those instead. He is so mad, he feels like there's no swear word currently in existence that can let him truly express his anger, so he has to invent his own, which is bleeped out because it's that bad that even the Nerd's show has to censor it.
• Thomas Sanders uses this in a few of his Vines, such as one set at a gas station:
  *mis-pumps and stops at $15.01* Well, that's gonna bug me all *HONK*ing day.
• OneyPlays bleeps out their copious obscenities in order to more easily dodge YouTube's demonetization algorithm, and usually they have a bit of fun with it. Earlier episodes typically used goofy sound effects like slide whistles, while from 2019 onward they used voice clips of Donkey Kong in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
• While most swears are left uncensored in Game Grumps, confidential information (like if someone's name is dropped who wishes to stay anonymous) and the very rare racial slur that slips out are bleeped out. Usually with animal noises or stock sound effects.
• Outside Xbox bleep out their own swearing, but not the contents of any videogame clips. This means that you can have one video containing two profanities that are both bleeped out, and another where a game NPC is allowed to throw around the very worst word in the English language with nary a bleep.
• In Wheezy Waiter's videos, utterances of the word 'shit' are censored with a short sound clip of Craig saying 'shirt!' complete with a graphic of one of the channel's shirt designs overlaid over the person's mouth.
• Pacific Northwest Stories and the Public Radio Alliance:
  • Because The Black Tapes is presented as a journalistic docudrama, host Alex Regan and producer Nic Silver often go to extensive lengths to protect the privacy of anyone who requests it. One common form of this occurs when people leave messages left for them. They will occasionally play the message on the show, but bleep out any personal information such as addresses or phone numbers given in the process.
  • Nic Silver's spinoff show, TANIS, also bleeps out any overly personal information that might come up such as addresses or phone numbers. TANIS also has a particular instance in the first season's third episode. The episode makes reference to the real-life story of Elisa Lam, who drowned in a hotel's water tower under mysterious circumstances. There was some outcry from listeners regarding this episode, feeling it was too soon. The episode was removed and re-released with every occurrence of Elisa Lam's name bleeped out. However, certain details are left in, such as mention of a historical figure named Siela which is noted as an anagram of "BLEEP" and mention of an alien creature named Lam which is not bleeped.
  • In episode two of RABBITS, Carly Parker contacts a professional escort trying to get a lead to a particular John. The escort she speaks to says that he gave her a poor review after she refused to give him a "Welshman's Tiara". Carly asks what that is, but the answer is bleeped out.
• When The Tourettes Guy burned himself on hot tap water, he yelled out "IT'S HOTTER THAN [BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP]!" Like AVGN above, the joke is that whatever he said was so bad, even a show known for its heavy swearing has to bleep it out.
• Conversed in Randy Rainbow's "Desperate Cheeto" when he says "every time you open up your mouth, the censors have to bleep-o". Played straight when a similar line mocks Trump's speeches and contains the word "***ing" later on.
• During the 4th Sonic Twitter Takeover, we have a spot of apparent real-time censoring whenever Shadow tries to talk about the *BEEP* fourth Chaos Emerald. He tries to work around it, to no avail and much comedy.
• Josh Scorcher employs a fairly creative version— he uses a soundbite of Fluttershy saying "yay".
  • During his Top 10 Konami Fails list, he temporarily replaced it with a soundbite of The Quarter Guy saying "Konami".
• The Jolly Roger Telephone Company is a site that provides bots which are designed to waste the time of telemarketers. Sometimes recordings of these calls are posted on YouTube and the names of companies and callers are bleeped out using tones. The time needed to add these has been cited by the company creator as the reason why recordings aren't posted more frequently, as he himself has to edit any call that's posted.
• In the Animorphs fanfic-podcast Sporadic Phantoms, the trio's surnames are beeped out, as are the surnames of minors in The Sharing's visit to The Gardens, though you can hear the first syllables of "Chapman" and "Berenson".
• The Whiskey Vault: Any curse word that has to be censored is overdubbed with a popping sound similar to a bottle being uncorked.
• All swear words in Scott The Woz are censored with beeps. Scott himself stated that he has no real problem with swears; he just thought censoring swear words makes them funnier.
• Club Penguin Shutdown: Whenever a character swears, the swear words are audibly bleeped out by bubble sounds and visually obscured by the fish icon of Club Penguin.
• David Langford opens an interview with Christopher Priest (novelist) by explaining they are on the seaside promenade, so it is possible that background noise may drown out vital answers. A few questions later, Priest's opinion of John Nathan-Turner is rendered as "an appalling little [word obscured by microphone noise, and triumphant seagull cries] ".
