Somehow, the Beast Tamers are like the Fantastic Four.
- In the climax of Invasion of the Rajita, Sailor Mars becoming the Yami Houou pays tribute to The Dark Phoenix Saga.
- The Houou is obviously base on the Phoenix Force.

Sailor Moon is Superman, Yusuke is Batman, Takato & Guilmon are Green Lantern, Yugi is the Martian Manhunter, Takuya is the Flash, Sedna is Wonder Woman, and Brunhilde is Hawkgirl.
- Kaiser Ghidorah's mannerism and cruelty is similar to Darkseid. In Chapter 18 of Invasion of the Rajita, he even quotes one of the dialogue from Superman: The Animated Series.
