Yuri or Another (百合だのかんだの "Yuri Dano Kan Dano") is a 2019 Yuri dorama starring Fumika Baba and Fujiko Kojima that aired on Fuji TV on Demand.Yuri Shinohara is a university student who's become troubled by an unknown stalker. Yuri decides to move houses so the stalk won't be able to find her. She soon discovers that her new realtor is her childhood friend Kairi Ninomiya, who moved away while the two were in elementary school, and who has an obsessive attachment to Yuri after she loaned Kairi her panties when they were younger.

Tropes that are present in this work:
- Abusive Parents: Kairi does not have the fondest things to say about her mother, claiming she exploited and neglected her while she was a junior idol. It's called in to question however when her mother actually does appear and is shown to be a warm and compassionate woman who cares for her daughter and wants what's best for her. Double subverted when it turns out her mother doesn't truly care about her daughter at all and only came back to get money from her, even going so far as to mock her daughter for her emotional dependency on her.
- All Periods Are PMS: Averted. When Kairi gets her PMS (which makes her want to softly bite someone) she mentions it as being before her period.
- Because You Were Nice to Me: The whole reason Kairi is attached to Yuri is because of an incident when they were children where Kairi peed herself and Yuri, who was wearing pants that day, took off her panties and loaned them to her.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Yuri is a Nice Girl who always tries to see the best in others, but when she learns Fuwa had been whipping Kairi to the point of leaving scars, she becomes absolutely furious to the point of shoving him to the ground and threatening him.
- Broken Ace: Kairi is a beautiful, intelligent and very sociable young woman noted as being one of the best realtors at her firm. At the same time, she also suffered a Dark and Troubled Past as a "junior idol" surrounded by perverted men, leaving her with a warped sense of sexuality and serious attachment issues.
- Broken Pedestal: Subverted at first. When she figures out that Professor Fuwa, whom Yuri admires for his devotion to his wife, is the one stalking her, Kairi offers to let Fuwa vent his frustrations onto her to keep Yuri from finding out, worried she'll lose her innocence if she does. Ironically, this ends up happening the other way to Fuwa after Yuri lashes out at him upon finding out he whipped Kairi, leading him to lose interest in her as she's not the delicate flower he thought she was.
- Convenient Coma: Averted with Fuwa's wife, whose been in a coma for decades after getting into an accident shortly after they both got married.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Kairi's experience as a "junior idol" in her childhood saw her being made to wear tight outfits and have salacious photos taken of her in them, as well as doing meet-ups where she would have to let her older male fans hug her, something she freely admits warped her sexuality.
- Does Not Like Men: Downplayed with Kairi. She gets along with men just fine, but her experiences as a "junior idol" surrounded by much older men have led her to not seek men as romance partners.
- Easily Forgiven: A justified case. Yuri and Kairi decide to not report Fuwa to police, even after he nearly commits a Murder-Suicide with Yuri, as he stopped showing interest in Yuri and they feel it would only be cruel to his comatose wife, who would have no one to visit her if he was gone.
- Friendship Trinket: The friendship rings Yuri and Kairi both wear on their thumbs.
- Good Is Dumb: Downplayed. While Yuri definitely isn't dumb, several characters note that because of how compassionate and earnest she is she could be easily taken advantage of.
- Handsome Lech: Yuri is a female example. She's very pretty, as Yuri and several other characters note, but is also unapologetic about her attraction to Yuri and her perverted feelings towards her.
- Hidden Villain: Yuri's stalker. Because she doesn't know his identity she's wary of nearly every male she meets. It eventually turns out the stalker is Fuwa, though he's not really a "villain" so much as a troubled man venting his angst over his comatose wife by being attracted to Yuri.
- I Have Your Wife: Believe it or not, a "good" inversion of this trope happens when Kairi threatens over the phone to kill Fuwa's wife if he doesn't let Yuri go. This, coupled with Yuri getting angry at him and assaulting him, causing Fuwa to realize how much he still cares for his wife and return to her.
- Maybe Ever After: The special ends with Yuri and Kairi both seemingly getting together with Shuji and Miyake, but vowing to stay friends forever with the implication Kairi is still very interested in Yuri.
- Meaningful Name: The main protagonist of this Yuri drama is literally named "Yuri", something even her friends lampshade at one point. Her name also means "lily", reflecting her innocent and gentle nature.
- No Sense of Personal Space: Kairi, though only around Yuri. She frequently invades her personal space to feel her body and even smothers her face inside Yuri's breasts early on.
- Pseudo-Romantic Friendship: Yuri and Kairi's relationship is this on the surface, with Kairi finding Yuri attractive but would rather the two be best friends rather than lovers, claiming to have been sexually "broken" by her traumatic experiences as a junior idol. This doesn't stop the two from doings like kissing or having fantasies about the other person, and the scene in #7 where the two put on each others friendship rings even has the feel of two lovers expressing wedding vows.
- Skinship Grope: When Kairi and Yuri meet up, one of the first things Kairi does is admire her breasts, grab them and pretend to be suffocated.
- Violently Protective Girlfriend: Not the person you'd expect. When she learns Fuwa was whipping Kairi as part of their S&M play to the point of leaving scars on her back, Yuri furiously pushes him to the ground and shouts at him.
