Tropical Cop Tales follows the antics of police officers Keymarion "Primetime" Weeyums and Demetrius "Meechie" Franks after they relocate to a small tropical police department to enjoy a peaceful end to their careers. Unfortunately, the island turns out to be the exact opposite. Between a neurotic, always shouting supervisor, an eccentric group of cannibals, and a serial killer with a literal head of cabbage, they will be lucky to survive, let alone see retirement.
The show is a surreal parody of cop shows and 80s culture, in which two burnt-out cops do their best to fill their roles as peacekeepers on a bizarre, vicious island. Started as a pilot episode released online in June of 2018, it was picked up by Adult Swim and began airing weekly in January of 2019.
