All-Star Cast: Along with Atlanta, Beverly Hills possesses some of the most famous women outside of the Real Housewives universe on its cast. - Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: For all of their bickering, Kathy, Kim and Kyle do love each other.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: Camille, Kyle, and Allison DuBois, the leading ladies of "The Dinner Party from Hell" episode from Season 1 respectively.
- Darker and Edgier: Season 1 of RHOBH is this compared to the other shows. The series opens up with the divorce of the Grammers, the , and the reveal that Taylor's husband had been abusing her for years. An example that all that glitters is not gold.
- Foil: To fellow Calfornian installation Orange County. Part of Beverly Hills' appeal is its glamour that is not present in the more down-to-earth Orange County. In exchange for the glitz and glam of The Hills, Orange County's cast is more much explosive and laid-back than the uptight, image-conscious Beverly Hills girls.
