A short lived TV series from 1984 that starred a then-unknown Jim Carrey as a young animator at a struggling independent animation company. The Duck Factory was Carrey's first lead role in a Hollywood production.
Tropes:
- Logo Joke: Before the MTM logo starts, a voiceover asks "Where's the cat?" or "Here's the cat!" The cat then quacks.
- Oddly Small Organization: There never seems to be more than a handful of people working at the studio. Even taking outsourcing into account, an animation studio should have dozens, if not hundreds, of employees.
