Spravedlnost (English: Absolution) is Czech crime television series. It tells story of police investigator Richard Koller who investigates murder of prominent judge that was committed by his daughter Lily. The first episode premiered on 12 March 2017. It was directed by Peter Bebjak. Vetchý who starrs in the series collaborated with Bebjak on Případy 1. oddělení.
Tropes of the Absolution:
- All for Nothing: Richard helps Lily to cover up murder only to find out that she still hates him and that she lied to him about it being self-defense.
- Downer Ending: Richard is caught and will likely face charges while his daughter cold blooded murderer escapes any punishment.
- The Mole: Richard de facto. He is tasked to investigate murder which tries to cover up.
- Redemption Equals Affliction: When Lohnický finds out what Richard did he gives him chance to resign as policeman. Richard feels guilt and agrees but its too late and Richard still gets arrested.
- Villain Protagonist: Richard tries to cover up murder committed by his daughter.
