A 2023 Japanese drama based on the manga of the same name. It stars Kasumi Yamaya as Himeno Takato, a recently divorced woman, in need of a place to stay. She meets up with her old school friend, Mana Horie (Kurumi Shimizu), whom she's not seen in 10 years.
But Himeno has a secret. She is secretly a master manipulator, who takes great pleasure in manipulating those around her, and stealing people's boyfriends, for seemingly no reason than the fun of it.
This show provides examples of:
- Dinner with the Boss: How Himeno not only gets hired, but how she is able to get the boss to make any changes she desires, and also pay for her living expenses.
- First Kiss: Mana has hers with Shinonome.
- Gold Digger: Himeno works as little as possible, happy to live off the wealth of the men she manipulates.
- Meal Ticket: In the final episode, Himeno has dinner with a potential sugar daddy, having run out of other options to support herself.
- Never Gets Drunk: Himeno prides herself on her ability to drink and drink without feeling the effects.
- Office Romance: Tons of them going on, with multiple people.
- Old Friend: Himeno and Mano haven't seen each-other in 10 years.
- Playing Drunk: Himeno pretends to be drunk, as part of her plan to get alone with Hashii and seduce him.
- Serial Homewrecker: Seemingly Himeno's favourite hobby. She loves to steal people's boyfriends, for no other reason than the fun of it.
- Sexual Deviance Is Evil: In the final episode, Himeno attempts to woo a sugar daddy, who sees right through her, but he's happy to oblige her, if she's up for some "non-standard" stuff. She attempts to leave, but he's determined to have her.
- Standard Office Setting: Where Mana works.
- Third Wheel: Himeno likes to "accidentally" do this as a way of ruining other people's dates.
- What Did I Do Last Night?: Himeno pulls this on Shinonome, getting him drunk and telling him they had sex.
