My Phone Genie is a British children's comedy-drama series about a young girl with a genie in her mobile phone. The series premiered on 1 January 2012 and ran for 26 episodes, airing on ITV and CITV.
This series provides examples of:
- Animate Body Parts: In episode 6, Talk to the Hair, when Jaz wishes for some confidence in the upcoming school debate, Gene gives her hair a mind of its own.
- Annoying Younger Sibling: Reese is this to Jaz.
- Shout-Out: In the episode 8, Pene's Perfect Date, Gene's date outfit is pretty much the regular costume for the Eleventh Doctor. Ironically, the way Gene acts is pretty similar to Matt Smith's Doctor.
