María de Todos los Ángeles is a Mexican sitcom TV series produced by André Barren and Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo for Televisa. It aired for two seasons from 2009 to 2014, and counted on 13 episodes in the first season and 20 in the second season.

Maria de todos los Ángeles (Mara Escalante) is a 30-year-old woman who dreams of finding true love, who disillusioned by all her love problems, invokes all angels from the heavenly courts to find the one; they reveal themselves in dreams and give her signs to find him but she gets them wrong, until she meets her neighbor Albertano Santacruz (Ariel Miramontes), a romantic guy who pretends to be a grupero singer.

María de Todos los Ángeles provides examples of the following tropes:

  • Carpet of Virility: Albertano sports one of these.
  • Manchild: Albertano Santacruz, product of his mother Doña Lucha overprotecting him till adulthood.
  • Old Maid: The title character is a single 30-year-old woman who makes it her top priority to find her true love to marry before it's too late.
  • Overprotective Mom: Doña Lucha, as she overprotected and coddled her son Albertano till adulthood, resulting in him becoming a vain yet lazy manchild. She also treats her other son, Chino (played by Beng Zeng) like a baby.
