Kosmo is a Czech Science fiction sitcom. It is about Czech flight to the Moon which was to be funded by money from the European Union. The money gets tunnelled by project leader Sumec but the flight must still happen due to impending fine.
Tropes of the Kosmo:
- Decoy Protagonist: Captain Milada Musilová is the leader of the crew and its most competent member. She also seems to get most Character Development in first two episodes. Her actress Jana Plodková event gets Top Billing. Yet she leaves the series after second episode because og her large chest. Second pilot Petr Chromý becomes the new Captain and can be viewed as the true protagonist.
- Did Not Get the Girl: Petr Chromý has crush on Captain Musilová but she leaves the crew before anything could happen between them.
- Dirty Coward: Hejl is repeatedly shown as coward who doesn't have problem to leave others behind if the situation gets bad.
- Dumb Blonde: Subverted. While Captain Musilová who is blonde is actually smart, her replacement Agáta is very dumb and she is not blonde.
- The Everyman: Petr Chromý.
- Hidden Depths: Petr Chromý is eventually shown as the most competen meber of the team.
- Naïve Everygirl: Captain Musilová is very naive is she spent most of her life in the United States
