Kirk Hartman has just graduated from college and is seeking a job as an illustrator. While he's at it, his aunt moves to Florida —which means that he now has to take care of his younger siblings.

Kirk is a live-action Dom Com created by Ross Brown and originally broadcasted from August 23, 1995, to November 10, 1996 in The WB.

This series provides examples of:

  • Bested at Bowling: Inverted. Kirk's girlfriend is the only one that can take the place of his team's star and is terrible at it until Kirk uses a little bit of Reverse Psychology to help save the day.
  • The Hopeless Replacement: The bowling team is in the finals, but their best bowler just threw her back out. In comes Kirk's main squeeze, who stinks... until she's given some reverse psychology by Kirk, and pulls out the victory for their team.
  • Promoted to Parent: While he was pursuing tertiary education, Kirk's aunt was the sole caregiver of his younger siblings. When he graduates, she decides to move to Florida to get married, thinking he's old enough to parent them.
