Hiccups is a Canadian television series created by Brent Butt, star of Corner Gas, who is also the writer, show runner, and executive producer of the program. The series was broadcast on CTV and The Comedy Network.

Millie Upton (Nancy Robertson, Butt's wife and Corner Gas co-star) is the successful author of a series of children's books. Millie has anger management issues, which are referred to as "hiccups," giant outbursts followed by giant fits of depression. After being told that she needs some help controlling her anger issues, Millie finds a man named Stan Dirko (Butt), whom she hires as her life coach, even though Stan is significantly underqualified for his profession, but Millie never notices.

The show premiered on CTV on March 1, 2010. Hiccups returned for a second season on May 30, 2011, but afterwards CTV did not renew Hiccups for a third season.

This series features examples of:

  • Deadpan Snarker: Crystal Braywood is a teenaged receptionist completely detached from her job.
  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: Almost literall; one episode mentions a "fantasy-romance" novel involving a robot and werewolf pirates.
