When Linda's husband Micky (Steve Evets) vanishes on their anniversary celebration, Linda turns to her best friends — but both of them are also struggling. Gail is wrangling her aging mother, her son with a prison record (Matthew Lewis), and her grandson; Sue's relationship with her lover/boss John (Anthony Head) is deteriorating and she's threatened with being aged out of her job.

The show also stars Philip Cumbus and Daisy Head.

Not to be confused with the American TV show of the same name.
