Drag Race Philippines is a Philippine reality competition show. It is a spin-off of RuPaul's Drag Race. Hosted by Paolo Ballesteros, also known as "Mamwa Pao," Drag Race Philippines is notable for being the first international Drag Race spin-off to have its own Untucked show. That's how you know they'll bring in the drama.
RPDR US alum Jiggly Caliente is a permanent judge, as well as Filipino comedienne and TV personality KaladKaren (known best to the Filipino public via It's Showtime). Season 1 premiered on August 17, 2022. Drag Race Philippines is produced by World of Wonder and Fullhouse Asia Productions Studios. Episodes are available on WOW Presents Plus, Discovery+ and HBO Go in the Philippines, Crave (Canada), and WOW Presents Plus (everywhere else).
Tropes
- Bilingual Bonus: All of the queens speak in English a lot, as well as Tagalog/Filipino. They mix English with Tagalog frequently. Season 1's Lady Morgana makes it a trilingual bonus, because she also speaks in her native language Bisaya/Cebuano onscreen alongside the aforementioned English and Tagalog.

- Aborted Arc: Marina Summers and Minty Fresh had a feud before Drag Race, and we're led to believe this will cross over to the show. However, we don't really see them feuding beyond Minty snubbing Marina in Episode 1. The two do bring major drama onscreen, but not with each other: Minty argues with Brigiding in Untucked and Xilhouete seems to resent Marina, her former drag daughter.

Beam Me Up, Scotty!: One notable aspect of Xilhouete's impersonation of Vicki Belo in the Snatch Game is their use of "Right?" as a catchphrase. Despite the real-life Vicki Belo not being known for using this catchphrase, it became quite characteristic of Xilhouete's impersonation, to the point that Xilhouete won the challenge.
- Homage: In Episode 3, they pay homage to girl groups, particularly Filipino girl groups like The Sexbomb Girls.
