Big Rich Texas is the Spiritual Successor of Style's reality TV show Dallas Divas & Daughters. It follows the lives of Dallas' elite mothers and daughters as they go through everyday life.
The mothers and daughters are:
- Pam and Hannah
- Connie and Grace
- Melissa and Maddie
- Bonnie and Whitney
- Leslie and her goddaughter Kalyn
- DeAynni and her daughters Amber and Shaye (season 2)
- Wendy and Nikki (season 3).
This series has examples of
- Abusive Parents: DeAynni is not the most... stable of mothers.
- Leslie to Kalyn, she even encourages eating disorder-like behavior.
- Alpha Bitch: Pam.
- Big Fancy House: In season 1, Leslie and Kalyn move from their house to a much more lavish and huge mansion, which makes Pam even more suspicious of Leslie's background, especially since later as revealed by Leslie's realtor, she actually leases it, as she claims it to be her own to everyone.
- Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Bonnie, who teaches biology at a university and Whitney, who apparently is in university.
- Confession Cam: Like on Dallas Divas & Daughters, there are two types: One for mother/daughter (When talking about other mother/daughters) and one for individuals (For talking about their own mother/daughter)
- Gold Digger: Leslie.
- Hard-Drinking Party Girl: Bonnie.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: Maddie and Grace.
- Kayfabe: Pretty much no fan believes any of this is real.
- Only Sane Man: Melissa, among the moms.
- Rich Bitch: Pam, Hannah, Bonnie, DeAynni, Amber and Shaye.
- The Rival: Pam and Bonnie, then Pam and Leslie. Connie and DeAynni.
- Self-Made Woman: Connie, who owns a high end clothing consignment store.
- Stage Mom: Kayln's real mom in season one (Who actually tries to steal the spotlight from her in one pageant) and Leslie in season two.
