EN-Eins (Full name: Energaia Eins)
- A God I Am Not: Despite being cloned from an unknown deity, EN-Eins has no aspirations to be a god. Instead, he fights to protect humanity from the New Order of the Knights Templar. Unfortunately, his brother Inazuma does not share this line of thought.
- Clone Jesus: EN-Eins is the apparent clone of an unknown god, that will help lead humanity to a new dawn and leave the old humanity to die. However, EN-Eins rejects this saying that even though humanity's role in building the world has ended, that is no reason to destroy them.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: EN-Eins has a very soft feminine face, with some artwork of him showcasing him having long eyelashes. Some artwork even has him being mistaken for being a female.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Even though EN-Eins was supposed to destroy humanity, he rebels against this idea and opts to protect humanity. He may be a bit distant from them, but he sees no reason to exterminate humans just because he was designed for it.
- Leitmotif: Open Pandora's Box.
- Pretty in Mink: Wears a blue trenchcoat with white fur.
- The Protagonist: Of EN-Eins Perfektewelt and its update, Anastasis.
- Playing with Fire: Possesses pyrokinesis, and uses it in conjunction with some of his other abilities, such as his ability to teleport short distances rapidly..
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: EN-Eins has red eyes, but unlike other characters who possess red eyes in this series, the color doesn't stem from using a Blitz Motor.
- Shoto Clone: He has a projectile, a screen travelling attack, and a DP (with an additional input knocking the opponent down), though in practice he's more of a rushdown, combo-oriented character than a traditional Shoto.
- Sole Survivor: Of his batch of clones. ....until Inazuma resurfaced and was revealed to be a fellow clone of his.

Kati
- Fighting Clown: She's likely more comical fighters unlike most fighters in the series, due to having some hearts effects when hitting someone and star effects when someone knocks her down, she slides and grabs & throws her opponents in some cartoonish ways.
- Genki Girl: Kati stands out as being particularly cheerful in comparison to the rest of the more serious cast, to the point where she's always accompanied by musical notes and stars come out when she is knocked to the floor.
- Intergenerational Friendship: With Sai (mid 30's but is actually much older). He protects and watches over her.
- Leitmotif: Love is the Morning Star.
- Magical Girl: Unlike Mycale, Kati plays this straight.
- Shoto Clone: To degree; where she has a Tatsumaki and a Shoryuken However, she lacks a fireball, with the closest thing she has to one being to extend to her wand and, depending on the input, reel in her opponent and whack them like she's swinging a baseball bat.
- Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Replaces Mycale in EN-Eins Perfektewelt. Justified as she was the original host body for Mycale before she possessed Anonym to become Perfecti; Kati was chosen in the first place due to her knowledge of magic.

- Dark Action Girl: The Tempelritters are the foot soldiers of the Knights Templar, who want to wipe out humanity and replace it with their "new humanity".
- Leitmotif: Tempest Blade Maiden
- The Unfought: In the original version of EN-Eins Perfektewelt, Tempelritter was never fought in any character's arcade mode. Technically you do fight her, but as her palette swap Valkyria. Averted in Anastasis, where she is fought randomly in any character's arcade modes as a normal opponent.

- Big Bad: Of EN-Eins Perfektewelt.
- Dark Action Girl
- Leitmotif: Lady of Flying Flames.
- Palette Swap: See her clone, Tempelritter above.
- SNK Boss: Valkyria LOVES to break the rules of the game and spam all of her EX or supers whenever she gets the chance to, regardless of how much meter she has. She can even use her supers during and after Kanzen Sekai, which is supposed to disable a character's super meter until the next round. Her Level 3 super is especially dangerous as it can take off more than half of your health if it hits and takes away around 3/4ths of your guard gauge if blocked. However, her super spamming makes Valkyria pretty predictable, and if a player can figure out how many hits her supers are they can react to the super freeze and parry every hit of her supers, leaving her wide open for a combonote .
Inazuma
Inazuma (real name: Energaia Neun or EN-Neun)
- Anti-Hero: Inazuma is against the villains, but also wishes to gain the power hidden in the Kingdom of Neuland to cement himself as a god. Borders on Nominal Hero, as his goals are very selfish and only benefit himself in the grand scheme of the story.
- Cool Helmet: The only character in the series who obscures their face completely, looking like a Toku hero.
- Final Boss: He is the temporarily last opponent in everyone's storylines in Anastasis, except his own where he fights EN-Eins instead.
- Jerkass: His manner of speech is very impolite and somewhat sarcastic, as he looks down upon or mocks everyone he encounters, such as his own brother, EN-Eins.
- Leitmotif: "Hybrid".
- Palette Swap: He originally was like this, sharing a lot of the same sprites as Akatsuki back when he was an unused character, before going through Divergent Character Evolution. He still does share a few animations with Akatsuki, but not nearly as much as before.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Inazuma's helmet has glowing lights to where his eyes are, highlighting how dangerous he is.
- Shock and Awe: Due to being modified into a "Blitzsoldier" because of his Type-1 Blitz Motor, Inazuma possesses the ability to wield and weaponize lightning.
- The Rival: To EN-Eins, his brother from the failed Energaia clone batch.
- Wild Card: He isn't a full blown hero or villain, and is on no ones side but his own. Inazuma simply just wants the godlike power that awaits in the Kingdom of Neuland to himself.
- Yellow Lightning, Blue Lightning: Inazuma's lightning appears to be mix of green and yellow, in contrast to the blue-indigo (or purple in Akatsuki title(s)) color of Akatsuki's lightning. It also changes color depending on what color his outfit is.
