- Super Paper Mario: Count Bleck was a member of the Tribe of Darkness by the name of Blumiere. He was deeply in love with the human Timpani, only for his father to get rid of her because his tribe opposed foreign contamination. After a vain search for her, he took the Dark Prognosticus out of despair, becoming the Omnicidal Maniac he is now in the process. When Mario defeats him at last, he demands his own death now that his love's survival makes his quest for annihilation utterly meaningless.
