Can't Take Criticism: An art 320 student asks Igdoof and Ralph what they think of their new painting, titled "Existential Breathlessness". Igdoof says that it looks like someone sneezed on it with a bloody nose. He is then assaulted with the painting and put in the hospital.
Determinator: Igdoof never gives up on getting "Ugly Eugene" in the student newspapers, even during the last few weeks of his senior year.
The first strip features Igdoof's parents crying over his departure. Later strips would make it clear that they are glad he's gone.
Ralph was called Moe, and was far meaner to Igdoof.
In the early UMD strips, the art style was much more rigid.
Fridge Horror: In-Universe example: Igdoof wakes Ralph up in the middle of the night to tell him that Ernie's eight years old but Bernie is at least thirty, meaning that they're an adult and child living alone in an apartment. This is made even worse with Bert's "Pigeon Fetish".
Girlfriend in Canada: Igdoof claims that he has a girlfriend from Nebraska named "Bunny". When asked for a picture, it turns out to be from the latest Playboy issue.
Manchild: Igdoof is very immature for his age, and still religiously watches Sesame Street as a college student.
Minor with Fake I.D.: Inverted, Igdoof at one point gets an I.D. that says that he's twelve, so he doesn't have to pay $6.50 at the movies.
Secret Diary: Igdoof covers Ralph face in Vaseline while sleeping and says that it must be the chocolate that caused his breakout. Ralph discovers Igdoof writing in his diary and learns the truth. Ralph then threatens to burn it.
Self-Plagiarism: Many of the strips printed in Villanova University were redrawn after Kinney moved to the University of Maryland.
Straight Man: Ralph is often this to Igdoof's various antics.
