Sandbox / Pinocchio Nose Vs You Can Always Tell Wick Check

Go To

The distinction between Pinocchio Nose and You Can Always Tell a Liar is not clear. The latter claimed in TLP that it was about universal tells as opposed to the former's character-specific ones, but this information never made it into the description, instead a random assertion that the former is about "direct lying" was added in 2010 after the latter launched with no mention of it. Additionally, Pinocchio Nose does not include this "direct lying" distinction and never has.

Pinocchio Nose

Character-specific tell (/50)

Others idk we'll sort em as we find em

You Can Always Tell A Liar

TLP meaning: Non-character-specific tell, about a direct lie (/50)

Page description meaning: Character-specific tell about something other than a direct lie (/50)

Matches both: Non-character-specific tell, about something other than a direct lie (/50)

Definitely incorrect: Anything else (/50)
