America, Japan, Australia, and Western Europe have converged under The Confederate Treaty of Liberty Alliance, while China, Russia, and Eastern Europe have converged under the flag of Great Zogilia. With the 13th Gundam Fight ending in Japan's victory, many thought that this would be an end to conflict.
Yet this did not come to pass, as Zogilia openly declared war against the rest of the world. Neo-Zeon’s remnants have linked up with Zogilia in an effort to claim an artifact known as "Laplace's Box". The Alliance is on the back foot. The White Devil and Getter Robo have long since left this world, and Mazinger Z is no longer in battle. It seems hopeless, and that only destruction would follow.
However, there is hope. Hope from this world that will join with another, with the power to change destiny.

- Captain Yuzo Takaya's sacrifice in the battle against the Space Monsters became known as the "Luxion Disaster". The creator of the Luxon was an old friend of his and named the Valiancer as such in tribute to his friend.
- Master Asia and Fudo Kazanari were old sparring partners, prior to Master Asia's turn to the Dark Gundam.
- Both Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger helped out the Shuffle Alliance on several occasions during the events of the 13th Gundam fight.
- Hibiki Tachibana and Shinjiro Hayata were friends prior to joining their respective organizations.
- Tetsuya Tsurugi mentored Maito Senpuuji.
- World of Possibility (Universal Century):
- Original Generation: Subverted. The fic does not feature any original generation characters, instead focusing on the three unorthodox entries (Lyrical Nanoha, Symphogear and Yuki Yuna is a Hero) taking up the role.
- Spared by the Adaptation: In classic Super Robot Wars fashion, several characters survive their original fates.
- Kanade Amo survives singing her Superb Song thanks to Gin Minowa's assistance. Tragically, her failure to protect Gin caused her to give up singing, with her Gungnir damaged and leaving her unable to fight.
