Friday Night Funkin' DJX, or just DJX, is a Friday Night Funkin' remix mod focused around X, an up and coming DJ, and the various shenanigans he gets into with his girlfriend, Judith.

A major selling point of the mod is its "record arrow": in addition to the four normal left-right-up-down arrows, there is an addition fifth arrow controlled by the space bar, which scratches a record when pressed and adds an additional challenge to X's side of the chart.

Trivia

  • Prop Recycling: In a mod where everyone has new voices (including the duo themselves in "Scratcheez"), "X-outh" uses Skid and Pump's original voices.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Week 2:
      • A teaser for Week 2 shows X fighting Skid and Pump in an old, decrepit house, compared to the final Week where the house is still abandoned but more elegant looking.
      • The original sprite for Valentino shows him with a more wide-eyed stare like the original Monster, compared to his final sprites which have him in a constant scowl. In addition, there are three cats surrounding him, an element that was later incorporated into the background.

  • Shortly after the release of "Deadly Smiles", JpegNetworks, Robert's first voice actor, was accused of grooming and harassment alongside their partner. They were subsequently fired from the show and replaced by Gabe Velez, who voiced Robert in "Tender Treats".
