This is a character page for the DC Alternate Universe Fic Earth-108. Characters will be divided in Cast Herds with the character being only in its main Herd, but with a note to where it is in the other ones.
American Hero Teams
Composed at first of Samurai and the Gang AKA the Main Four and later joined by Dragon Girl and Toreila and then the Wonder Twins, the Super Friends are a close team who work together as one of the greatest Badass Crews of America.
Samurai
Leader of the Super Friends until his return to Japan, 23-year-old Toshio Eto is definitely a Stock Shōnen Hero, energetic and big-hearted, but with a slight dash of responsibility mixed in. Happily Married to Dragon Girl now, responsibility has stuck to his head without derailing him too much of his life and is a proud father and one of the greatest heroes of Japan.
- Blow You Away: His main power. Normally uses it as Tornado Move.
- Invisibility: Another of his powers.
- Stock Shōnen Hero: Big-hearted? Check. Energetic? Check. Book Dumb aside of history? Check. Downplayed as he ages up.
- Wreathed in Flames: Can set himself in fire.
Black Vulcan
22-year-old Jackson Pierce was always jealous of his older brother, Jefferson, also known as Black Lightning. After trying to cope with life as a volunteer at the school lab and gaining powers after a Freak Lab Accident happening, the hero known as Black Vulcan was born.
- The Blacksmith: In charge of making and fixing weapons. Once fixed (this universe's) Thor's hammer.
- Electric Black Guy: Has Shock and Awe powers, and is black.
Apache Chief
Tye Longshadow is not your average guy. Living with the knowledge you created a villain out your ex is quite stressing, and if you add that to having to cope with both university and superheroing, the problem grows even more. Thankfully, villainy is reversible.
- Sizeshifter: His main power.
El Dorado
Eduardo Díaz's origin parallels both Billy Batson and Garfield Logan: Born to Adventurer Archaeologist parents who died in an accident in an exploration, young Eduardo was found by a powerful wizard, who, sensing great potential in him, gave him a bunch of Combo Platter Powers and trained him to become the hero known as El Dorado.
Dragon Girl
Liankai Qian, daughter of a river dragon king and thus a princess, officially the first medical doctor specialized on metahuman/alien/mutant patients along with fellow doctor Lucía (Toreila) Ruíz. Happily Married to Samurai.
- Making a Splash: Comes with the dragon ancestry.
Toreila
What would you do if you discovered your ancestors have been being witches for hundreds of years? Why, accept your heritage and fight crime with it! At least, that's what Lucía Ruíz AKA Toreila did. With plant powers rivaling Poison Ivy, watch out for this girl!
- Green Thumb: Has plant powers.
The Wonder Twins
Wonder Twin Powers activate! Form of a... horrible character description! You know the deal. Zan and Jayna, the Wonder Twins. Junior Super Friends (from when the Justice League was renamed and tried to the most kid friendly team and didn't stick). Wendy and Marvin's replacements. Animal Girl, Water Boy. Johan and Johanna, the weird students from Ekso. Gleek's owners. A proof that the author can't make descriptions.
The Justice League of America (JLA for short) is the premier superteam of The DCU (and thus also Earth-108). Always expanding, it has ties and contacts to almost every other Super Team in Earth and beyond.

The Tactical Response Operatives for Peculiar Engagements (Project T.R.O.P.E. for short), despite the heavily formal spy organization name, is a semi-casual Super Team made out of university student roommates from San Francisco who all happened to be superheroes, the landlords included.
White Knight
The Leader of the team Ciar Doyle was born in Ireland to a mixed-race mother and an absent alien father and then raised in several places all over the British Islands. When he grew up, he decided to go to an university in San Francisco, USA to find more information about his alien parentage and then casually make a team to fight crime. Died due to an experiment of Dharlass in a trip back to Ireland and eventually became fused to an armor, becoming the White Knight in the process.
- Half-Human Hybrid: Half Fionhel'd, which gives him some limited Healing Factor.
Zanresh
Maiken Hagen is not your usual Norwegian girl. She might look naive and a Cloudcuckoolander, but once you get to know her, she’s the wildest Gamer Girl ever, and a superheroine to boot! After several years of being a simple Badass Normal, she has gained illusion powers due to one of Dharlass’s experiments, and is starting to have fun with them...
Blue Wonder
Qingshan Kwok is just your usual Chinese University Student in the US. Nerdy, good grades, glasses... except he has an Imported Alien Phlebotinum Empathic Weapon that bonded with him at age eleven and has been fighting crime as the Blue Wonder since then. Oh, and he the Only Sane Man in this Ragtag Bunch of Misfits, too.
Dr. Dharlass
If you asked anyone to describe Danilo Covac, they would reply "mad". And truly, this Serbian Mad Scientist is one of the maddest ones in the world, although he has the Tropers for emotional support and friendship.
Jade Fighter
Yu Yahui is a student at the University of San Francisco, but also a superheroine and the immortal princess of Chinese Heaven. Gods go to the mortal realm for fun, and she is no exception. She has gone by several names while in other cities like Gotham and Ivy Town decades ago, but currently, with the Tropers, she's using her real name.
Winter Chill
Eira Snow is the daughter of the great scientists Boris Snow and Edith Nansen (sister of Sigrid Nansen, the first Icemaiden), and was almost frozen to death while playing outside in a frigid day when she was a kid, but this meant experimental substance to save life time, and thus she got ice powers and became the one and only Winter Chill.
Necras the Summoner
Alberto Pérez is a young Mexican man with the power of summoning dead people as ghosts for help, which was given to him by Katrina after being resurrected after a premature death. Likes to hang out with Ciar, specially after his death, because of shared origins.
The Shipper
Boulange
Gattei
Vaadin
After Ciar died and several of the Tropers left San Francisco after finishing their studies, Jay knew she had to get more heroes. What a coincidence the seven college students Blaise and Pierre got as the new residents of their apartment also happened to be superheroes. Not wanting to mess up the history Project T.R.O.P.E. made, they named themselves the New Tropers, and continued to fight crime by themselves.
Trichord
Connor Wyatt has been considered the Black Sheep of his family for liking electronic music instead of Classical music, and by incorporating that to his superhero career. But with electronic music being so cool, who can blame him? He's the youngest of four kids in a family legacy of turning music into energy superheroes, and he's rocking cool!
Demetrios
Laser Taze
S-Ploxion
Josephine Anderson
Josephine Anderson is not actually one of the college students that rented the apartment, but this more than seven hundred years old vampire installed herself in the attic, and she's not leaving no matter what. Has no idea what to call her hero self, but is currently using the name Mixie Cult.
Hawk Eagle
Born in Boston, Massachusetts to a couple of British Ornithologists, Orville Martin has always been the bird-crazy kid in school. In addition to an encyclopedic knowledge of the avian folk, he has created gadgets to imitate some of the ways of them, including the penguins’ graceful and quick swimming and the owls’ night vision, which has granted him a splendid reputation as one of San Francisco’s newest heroes, the Hawk Eagle.
Kitsunai
Alexander "Alex" Thunder Hurricane
The members of the Li'l Doom Legion wonder how nobody noticed their identities yet. The team is composed by several members of the Legion of Doom and other villains using Lex's "Kid Buttons", and they tend to pop out at any moment to help anyone or just do hero stuff by themselves.
Alex Sawyer
Freezer
Freezy Frost
Kid Kold
Ice Kate
Laser Kid
Kitten
Honeysuckle
Looking Glass
Boomerang Kid
Teenage kid Robby Reed found the Hero Dial, a device that transformed the user into one of the hundreds of heroes it contained, in a cave. He used it to become a superhero, or rather, hundreds of them. He was soon joined by his friend Suzy Shoemaker. Then they discovered the origins of the Dial, found out they could talk with the heroes inside and choose what to be transformed into, and saved its creator from being forever trapped in a cosmic prison. Then they were eventually joined by Ben Dean, who used a prototype of the H Dial called the Hero Watch.
Tropes regarding the team in general
- Foil: Between Robby and Suzy (Dial Duo) and Ben (Hero Watch).
- The Dial Duo didn't discover the origins of the Dial until months after finding it, Ben knew from the start.
- Robby and Suzy mostly depend on changing forms for battling, Ben tends to get the best form for the situation and stick with it.
- The Dial Duo has several slightly different transformations that are essentially the same, Ben has Superhero Speciation.
Hero Dial
Hero Dialla
The H Dial Heroes
The heroes of the H Dial themselves, from every part of the universe, although a great part of them are Earthen. From beloved heroes who decided to join the group when there was no danger in their worlds or unlucky What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway? guys who Jumped at the Call of making themselves useful, this superhero club akin to the Legion Of Superheroes (but much bigger, of course) have been aiding Robby Reed (and Suzy Shoemaker) into their hero careers with the ability of transforming into them.
- Battle Couple: Most of the dialed pairings. Trail Blazer in particular is married to Psi-Clone.
- Composite Character: The team has members of the Chris & Vicki era along with the classic Robby heroes and some new characters.
- Lightning Bruiser: Velocity Kid may be fast, but he can also take some hits.
- Killed Off for Real: Giantboy died due to deadly gas in issue 160 of House of Mystery and never recovered since then.
- The Leader: Velocity Kid, and before his death, Giantboy.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: King Kandy seems to have this dynamic with Mighty Moppet as the exasperated candy maker against the mischievous candy-stealing kid.
Hero Watch
- Flying Brick: Alphax is a classic example of one. He flies, he's super strong and super tough, he's fast and he has some other minor powers.
- Flying Firepower: Firestar flies and has Playing with Fire powers.
- Human Aliens: Jet Speed, Alphax, Lonestar and E-Blast all look human except for E-Blast's Technicolor purple eyes. Avenging Spirit also is quite human without the cloak.
- Making a Splash: Sky Tide can control water, which is instrumental to his survival as he can't breathe without it.
- Mythology Gag: He's based in the first Ben 10 concept that the creators had, including the more humanoid heroes and redhaired Ben.
- Super-Speed: Jet Speed's main power. Alphax also has it, although not as quick as Jet.
- Weak, but Skilled: Compared to the rest, Lonestar is a Badass Normal at most. He still kicks ass with his martial art skills and agility.
