The story takes place in The Multiverse, following the young hero named Devos Brightmore along with his companions the Reaper Ben Diablo, and Akuma. Devos is the son of the multiverse's greatest hero, Daevios Brightmore, who eons ago slain the Creator of Evil Nerkozoth in an epic battle. Nekrozoth's death led a power vacuum for other evil beings to take advantage of, seeking to take his throne as the Ultimate Evil.
In the present, Devos sought to fulfill his father's legacy in becoming a great hero, arrogant he may be about it. However, a great foe of Daevios has broken out of Pandora Dimension gathering an army of demons in order to destroy the Earth. It is up to Devos and his allies, alongside and ancient wizard named Master Mueller, to defeat this enemy and protect the Earth and the Multiverse from evil.
Tropes
- Ax-Crazy: Already in just a few panels of screentime Xuriah establish his bloodlust by immediately brutally murdering his cellmate by eating him alive, then goes on to completely massacre the prison guards once his powers came back.
- Big Bad: Xuriah D'arcmast'r, one of Daevios's Arch-Enemy in the past, is the mastermind of the Pandora Dimension prison break and is hellbent on revenge for him being jailed up. With the help of several other demons and Eldritch Abomination, he's now seeking to wreak Hell on Earth that the heroes themselves must stop.
- Card-Carrying Villain: Nekrozoth, being the Creator of Evil, he was the biggest bastard of them all and obviously took pride in his evil.
- Several convicts of the Pandora Dimension are this, when you have folks like Xuriah D'arcmast'r there's not much option.
- Establishing Character Moment: Xuriah D'arcmast'r's first onscreen appearance is addressing all the demons as "monkeys" to show his utter contempt for them... Then immediately eats his cellmate once his plans are set in motion all because the cellmate told him to shut up.
- Evil Power Vacuum: Since Nekrozoth, once the top dog of the bad guy community, was killed the other villains decided to take up the mantle as the next ruler of evil. Several of these baddies rose up to wreak havoc on the multiverse to live up to the reputation Nekrozoth once held.
- Fantastic Racism: Xuriah already shows subtle hints of this when he address everyone in the prison as "monkeys" as if it were a racial slur.
- Greater-Scope Villain: Nekrozoth, though long dead before the story began, is the main reason for the uprising of interdimensional villains to this day. His significance as the absolute ruler and inventor of the very concept of evil left a huge power vacuum upon his death, as several dark lords and would-be tyrants sought to take his throne as the undisputed ruler of all of the forces of darkness.
- The Grim Reaper: Ben Diablo is this, though unlike a stereotypical example he dresses like a demon.
- The Hero: Devos Brightmore, the son of Daevios Brightmore, is this along with his two friends. Since he wants to live up to his father's legacy being inspired by his stories of his adventures.
- Monstrous Cannibalism: Xuriah makes his debut doing this by consuming his cellmate.
- The Multiverse: The premise of the story establishes a whole omniverse, and it's plagued by cosmic demons and evil tyrants trying to rule it or destroy it.
- Multiversal Conqueror: Nekrozoth and several other villains are this, Nekrozoth once reign terror on the omniverse until he was finally put down by Daevios.
- Our Demons Are Different: Demons are interdimensional beings who cause strife an\d chaos, others being multi-universal conquerors. The beings in Pandora such as the prison guards are demons themselves but are benevolent compared to most.
- Prison Dimension: The Pandora Dimension is this, built by Xharon with the specific purpose of containing all the evil beings across the multiverse so they'll no longer become a threat to The Multiverse.
- The Paragon: Daevios is held in high regard as the greatest hero the multiverse, nay the omniverse, has ever known since he was the one who put down Nekrozoth all those years ago. His son Devos is trying to live up his father's rep and become just like him.
- Predecessor Villain: Nekrozoth yet again.
