The Insomniacs provides examples of:
- Bar Brawl: After the party visits Dominic Wainwright, he goes to his local bar and starts a massive brawl and requires three bouncers and a Banishment spell to finally stop him.
- Cast Full of Gay: Everyone with the exception of Rolen is at least bisexual.
- Mushroom Samba: Rolen acquires some hallucinogenic mushrooms in The Suburra that he later decides to bring out just for fun and spends the next hour tripping balls.
- Noodle Incident: The exact reason Krampus owed Titania a favor, which he's embarrassed about. The DM revealed out of game a member of Titania's Court called Krampus' girlfriend, a Winter Fairy, a goat fucker and Krampus got so angry he had Titania turn the offender into a goat for A Year and a Day.
- Ragtag Bunch of Misfits: The party very much has this dynamic due to their respective backgrounds.
- The Worf Effect: During the fight with Morax, the demon makes a beeline for No and hits him with all four arms, nearly knocking him unconscious in a single round.
