Misty Valley, also known as "Cursed Little Town" or "Curse Mumu," is a Tumblr-based 1x1 rp between Jillian
and Katie. With multiple characters being played by each mun, the plot follows the story of the residents of Misty Valley, a fictional small town in Maine with a dark past. Once upon a time, Misty Valley was home to witch huntings and, unfortunately, actual witches. When one witch was captured and killed, she cursed the entire town and all the descendants of those who condemned her. And now that more and more of those descendants are coming back to the town, the curse is getting stronger every day ...

Misty Valley contains examples of:
- Apathetic Citizens: Not apathetic, exactly, but most of them seem pretty oblivious to the creepy goings-on in the town.
- Black Magic: The curse cast on the town.
- Dark and Troubled Past: The town itself has one.
- Dying Curse: Right before she was hung, the witch put a curse on the entire town.
- Hereditary Curse: Some residents, such as Gabriel and Duncan, were drawn to the town because of their ancestry. Also, Gabriel and Andromeda are constantly trying to kill each other because of their ancestors.
- Homage: Putting Misty Valley in Maine is a reference to another cursed town ...
- I Don't Like the Sound of That Place: "Misty Valley" doesn't exactly sound quaint ...
- Morality Pet: While she didn't stop the witch from cursing the whole town, Theresa and Vanessa's ancestor acted as this to her, to the point where the curse tends to go easy on the Arcands to this day.
- Number of the Beast: Misty Valley has 666 residents. It's like the town is ASKING to be cursed.
- Opposites Attract: With basically all of the pairings, to varying extents. The only one that might not qualify is Abigail/Ian and Duncan/Mason.
- Gabriel and Andromeda are the descendants of a pastor and the witch he sentenced to death, respectively. In between that and their differing personalities, they're constantly at each other's throats.
- Cameron is a skeptic who hates the curse stories, while Theresa loves them.
- Chelsea is a loud introvert, while Vanessa is a quiet extrovert.
- Evalyn is a dark, brooding girl with a large family that stifles her, while Piper is the sweet and friendly daughter of a loving single mom.
- Angelina wants nothing more than to get away from the town, while Benjamin loves it.
- The Power of Friendship: How the group manages to overcome all obstacles put in place by the curse.
- Small Town Boredom: Angie especially suffers from this, but it probably hits all the residents to a certain extent.
- Town with a Dark Secret: Subverted, the residents have no problem talking about the curse, but most of them don't actually believe in it and those that do aren't taken seriously. That doesn't make the town any less dangerous, though.
- True Companions: Even though they might not always get along, the muses can always count on each other.
- Witch Hunt: Part of Misty Valley's past, and the cause of the curse.
