Live-Action TV

  • Big Time Rush:
    • Carlos briefly turns into Brobee in "Big Time Halloween".
    • The show's characters show up in "Big Time Cameo".
  • Modern Family: The show is mentioned in the episode "Bringing Up Baby". Apparently, when Cam and Mitch's friends Steven and Stefan had a child, their other friend Longinus sent the cast to their house.
  • In one episode of Raising Hope, Yo Gabba Gabba is said to be Hope's favorite show. Another episode features a parody of the series called "Yo Zappa Do!"
  • Saturday Night Live: Questlove's cameo on the show is brought up in the "Rap Roundtable" sketch when white Soundcloud rapper $mokedcheddathaassgetta calls him "a legend" for appearing on the show.
  • True Jackson, VP also had the Yo Gabba Gabba gang appear in the episode "Trapped in Paris". It gave us the spectacle of seeing the late Stefan Karl Stefansson (best known as Robbie Rotten from LazyTown) dancing with the cast.
  • WandaVision: The show's characters briefly appear on a television in Agnes's house in the seventh episode.

Web Animation

  • The Homestar Runner Halloween episode "Most in the Graveyard" has Coach Z dressed as DJ Lance Rock. The Brothers Chaps, creators of Homestar Runner, had worked on Yo Gabba Gabba! before this episode.

Western Animation

  • MAD:
    • Of course, the show is spoofed in the skit "Yo Gagga Gagga!", with Lady Gaga in place of DJ Lance Rock and Taylor Swift, T-Pain, Miley Cyrus and Triple H in place of the other characters.
    • Plex appears in "Real Veal".
    • In a "where are they now" documentary about Fred Flintstone's life after The Flintstones ended, one of the careers he did afterward is starring on a kids' show called "Ya Babba Dabba".
  • Futurama: "Yo Leela Leela" (if you couldn't tell by the title) is a parody of the show. In the episode, Leela creates a kiddy TV show that is clearly intended to be a spoof of Yo Gabba Gabba. As it turns out, the show's characters are real - Leela gets ideas for the show by going to their planet and typing all their exploits. In the end, once this is revealed, her show becomes a reality show, and she's stuck protesting that she should be taught a lesson instead of getting off scot-free.
  • Robot Chicken: A sketch from "May Cause Light Cannibalism" has DJ Lance Rock accidentally switch suitcases with some drug dealers. Meanwhile, the Gabbas sing a song about death during a crime scene.
  • In the South Park episode "Taming Strange", Kyle takes his little brother Ike to see a live show of Yo Gabba Gabba.
