Comic Books
- The Incredible Hulk (1971): According to it, the Sphinx was left behind by aliens as a weapon.
- Dial H for Hero: The heroes battle a Living Statue version of the Sphinx. However, it (conveniently) turns out to be an imitation and not the real deal, so they destroy it without any more hesitation.
Films — Animation
- Aladdin and Jasmine fly past the Sphinx during "A Whole New World". The sight of a flying carpet causes a worker to accidentally chip the statue's nose off in shock.
