The Ren & Stimpy Show
- Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt has Mr. Husband and Wife Petter, an animal ghost couple who resemble Stimpy and Ren respectively in appearance. Their personalities match as well, with Husband Petter being friendly and nice, and Wife Petter being a psychopath who murders her husband.
- Shaman King: Tamao Tamamura's Guardian ghosts, Ponchi and Conchi bear a striking—and wholly intentional—resemblance to Ren and Stimpy. (The author, not surprisingly, is a fan.)
- Off the Mark: Ren and Stimpy appear alongside other cartoon characters in this strip.
- The Cable Guy: The episode, "Insomniac Ren/My Shiny Friend" can be seen playing on a TV.
- Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022): When Chip and Dale are scanned by the bootlegging machine, a computer monitor shows what they'd look like in different animation styles; one of their potential redesigns has them looking like Ren and Stimpy.
- Clueless shows Ren & Stimpy on TV, too.
- When the documentary Won't You Be My Neighbor? mentions frantic-paced children's television programming, the "You dare not agree with ME?" scene is shown.
- Boy Meets World: At one point in "Quiz Show", Ren and Stimpy are mentioned (as is Rocko).
- Broad City: In "The Last Supper", Ilana says that her first Celeb Crush was Stimpy.
- Double Dare: On two separate 1992 episodes, one of them being the Tournament of Champions, Marc Summers asked which of the two titular characters on The Ren & Stimpy Show was the cat. Both times, it was answered incorrectly.note
- Family Matters: The Season 8 episode "Home Again" has Ritchie mentioning that he and 3J are looking forward to a two part Ren & Stimpy episode where the latter has to save his nose goblins. Though the episode in question doesn't exist.
- Full House: In "Joey's Funny Valentine", Joey imitates Ren and calls Danny "Stimpy", and then Becky mimics Joey's Ren imitation.
- Key & Peele: In a Wendell sketch, Wendell calls a company to replace a Superman bed he crushed under his own weight. To avoid telling the operator that it's him who needs the bed, he lies that it's for his son and names him "Stimpy" after looking at some Ren & Stimpy plush dolls next to him.
- Martin: One episode has Pam insult Cole and Martin by calling them "Ren and Stumpy".
- Saved by the Bell: The College Years: There's an episode where Mike was training to get back in shape to try out for a spot on a football team. One of the motivations he had to get his aggression out was his anger at Screech taping over his only tape of his past football accomplishments with Ren & Stimpy.
- The Angry Video Game Nerd: On Day Four of "The Twelve Days of Shitsmas", the Nerd reviews the Ren and Stimpy: Fire Dogs game for the SNES. In his review, he describes the show the game is based on as "Looney Tunes on crack" and doesn't question the show's logic, such as the fire department having a beaver in its equipment and the characters sliding up the fire poles.
- Console Wars: Greg and Dan see whether the SNES or the Sega Genesis had the better Licensed Game based on the show; Time Warp or Stimpy's Invention.
- The Nostalgia Critic:
- The "Top 11 Nostalgic Animated Shows" list has Ren and Stimpy at #8.
- In the "Nicktoons" review, Ren and Stimpy is briefly covered.
- In his review of The Disney Afternoon, the Critic claims The Shnookums & Meat Funny Cartoon Show to be a rip-off of Ren and Stimpy.note
- In his review of The Powerpuff Girls Movie, the Critic calls the show the movie is based on as "A mix between Ren and Stimpy and anime".
- In all three "Top 11 Fuck Ups" videos, show footage is shown in both the opening and during the bumpers for each countdown number (all set to "Weird Al" Yankovic's "Everything You Know Is Wrong").
- 2 Stupid Dogs: In "Cartoon Canines", Big Dog and Little Dog are shanghaied into a training camp for cartoon characters. During the montage where the two dogs try on different cartoon personas, Little Dog is seen looking like Ren, and Big Dog is seen looking like Stimpy. The Drill Sergeant shoots it down for being "Too Diseased".
- American Dad!: At one point in "Roger's Baby", Jeff wears Ren and Stimpy slippers.
- Drawn Together: In "The Lemon AIDS Walk", a cat resembling Stimpy is among the characters playing badminton against the Drawn Together team, with Billy West reprising his role.
- Garfield and Friends: "The Incredibly Stupid Swamp Monster" has Roy Rooster on the phone looking for a new show to cast a role in, he says, "What about cable? I hear they're considering doing a funny version of Ren & Stimpy.".note
- Robot Chicken: A sketch from "Gold Dust Gasoline" has a unicorn couple miss Noah's Ark and try to survive the flood on their very own (poorly-made) ark. The unicorns featured in the sketch were modified versions of the Palisades Mr. Horse action figure.
- The Simpsons:
- "Brother from the Same Planet": Bart and Tom watch an episode where Ren mistakes Stimpy's collection of furballs in stomach acid for meatball soup. Animation for that scene was provided by the Ren & Stimpy layout artists, with their voices provided by Simpsons regular Dan Castellaneta.
- "The Front": The season premiere for Ren & Stimpy is nominated for an Outstanding Writer Award, with a title card that says, "Clip Not Done Yet" shown. This was done in response to Kricfalusi's numerous derogatory remarks about The Simpsons, as well as how he deliberately delayed production on R&S episodes to avoid censorship.
- "Another Simpsons Clip Show": While watching an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show, Lisa compares Itchy and Scratchy recycling footage to make new episodes to Ren and Stimpy doing the same thing, to which Marge replies, "Yes, they do, and when was the last time you ever heard anyone talk about Ren and Stimpy?". At the time this episode aired, R&S was run by Games Animation.
- Tiny Toon Adventures Spring Break Special: Rank and Stumpy, a rooster and a squirrel who resemble Ren and Stimpy, are run over by the Tiny Toons bus on its way back to ACME Acres. This was done in response to Kricfalusi's criticism of Tiny Toons.
- Tamagotchi Video Adventures: Mimitchi and Pochitchi go inside a television and play the roles of Ren and Stimpy, respectively.Potchitchi: Happy joy, happy joy!
