Animated Films
- Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: One of the alternate universes in the film is a LEGO universe animated in the same style of the films with the same joke of the characters Saying Sound Effects Out Loud. The Spider-Man of this universe is even a member of Spider Society. Both the LEGO Movie films and the Spider-Verse films are written and produced by Phil Lord & Chris Miller.
- Hannibal from Twelve Days has posters of scenes from The LEGO Movie on his bedroom wall.
- In the teaser trailer of LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Wonder Woman remarks that Batman's spacesuit should've been black or a really dark grey, referencing LEGO Batman's "I only work in black...and sometimes, very, very dark grey" quote from the movie.
- LEGO DC Super-Villains: In the level "Fight at the Museum", one of the shops at the museum is The Coffee Chain, the same coffee place Emmet orders his overpriced coffee from.
- How It Should Have Ended: In "How Batman Should Have Ended", Batman says "First try!" when he perfectly frames the Batwing in the moon after several failed attempts in a similar fashion to a gag in the movie where LEGO Batman hits a button with a Batarang after plenty of misses.

- Emmet appears in The Stinger of "The Semi-Finals" trying to repair a hole left in the wall of the arena.
- In "Spirit in the Sky", a Funko Pop!-esque figure of Emmet labeled "Construction Guy" can be seen in the Cool Topic and later in Chris's swag pile.
- In "Dream Sequence (Again)", a poster for The LEGO Movie can be seen in Human Chris's room.
- In "The Vampodcast", after watching Jurassic Parks and Recreation, Chris mentions a scene where a character rode a dinosaur to retrieve the Piece of Resistance from an alien.
- Bum Reviews: Chester A. Bum has reviewed the film.
- Hollywood News Agency: LEGO Kritika (LEGO Critique) is where Gergely Szirmai says Lego is the "best thing humanity ever created in the universe" because people can run their creativity wild with it. In the end he starts to praise The LEGO Movie for its moral of creativity should not be stifled.
- In the Real-Time Fandub of Resident Evil 2 (Remake), Sherry sings "Everything is Awesome" to try and drown out Chief Irons' Ironic Nursery Tune.
- The Simpsons: In "Brick Like Me", after Homer wakes up at the end, he tells Lisa that he had a dream where he "was in a world made of LEGO bricks and learned important lessons about parenting." Lisa then says that it sounds like the plot of The LEGO Movie, only to be interrupted before she could say the movie's title by Homer saying "No. No, it's not. It's a new plot.", all while LEGO sculptures of Emmet and Wyldstyle appear in the background.
