  • Raising Hope: In "Yo Zappa Do (Part 2)', Virginia says that child stars "could star in a Spielberg movie and still end up playing the nutty mom on some sitcom". This is an Actor Allusion for Martha Plimpton, who did appear in the film as a teenager.

Video Games

  • pop'n music 10 includes a remix of the track "The Goonies R Good Enough", complete with a cartoony rendition of Mikey as your opponent, since Konami created the film's video game adaptation for the Famicom. Beating the song makes him replicate his death animation.
  • World of Warcraft: In the "Vanilla"/Classic game, the layout of the gigantic cavern hiding a ship at the end of the Deadmines dungeon (in which pirates hide) is very similar to the one containing One-Eyed Willy's ship.

  • American Dad!: Ian "May the Best Stan Win", Steve and and his friends try to remake Mannequin, and Roger agrees to direct it only if they make it Goonies remake.
    Roger: Look at you four! Fat, nerdy, smart-mouthed, Asian. You guys are the Goonies!
  • Bob's Burgers: The episode "The Belchies" is an homage to this film, complete with Cyndi Lauper singing a parody of "Goonies are Good Enough".
  • Family Guy:
    • In "Breaking Out is Hard to Do", the Griffins hide from the cops in a sewer, Peter asks the Goonies for directions. He then makes Chunk do the "truffle shuffle".
    • In "Hell Comes to Quahog", one of Meg's tasks while working at Superstore USA is feeding Sloth in the basement.
    • In "Stew-Roids", Peter takes a look at Connie talking with two of her friends, takes out an old coin where they fit into the holes from his view, and says "That's what One-Eyed Willy buried his gold!".
  • Inside Job (2021): In "The Brettfast Club", Reagan reveals to Brett that she never saw The Goonies. At the end, the two watch it together on Blu-ray and have a rather uneasy experience.
    Reagan: So, is their disabled brother just straight-up chained to a wall?
    Brett: Huh. Wow, yeah. That's... that hits different today.
  • New Looney Tunes: The two-part episode "The Loonies" is a parody of the film.
