Fan Works

  • Arc Phantoms: The prologue of the story is based off of the opening cutscene of Sly 3 when Sly asks Bentley to radio the other members of the Cooper Gang and how Sly is "The Ball".
  • Infinity Train: Knight of the Orange Lily: Sly Cooper was apparently a passenger on the Infinity Train, mentioning an adventure he had when he was stuck in Ancient Egypt (a reference to the secret ending in Thieves in Time) before he arrives in present day Paris with the rest of his gang. Meanwhile, Gladion encounters Penelope in the Toy Brick Car, and even works with them to stop the toy dragon wreaking havoc.

Video Games

  • AdVenture Communist: The character "Tennessee Ocelot" is a pretty obvious Captain Ersatz to Tennessee from Thieves in Time, with some Revolver Ocelot thrown into the mix.
Tennessee: I don't take kindly to folks funnin' Big Boss' name!
  • A Hat in Time: The Empress from the Nyakuza Metro DLC has many Sly Cooper-like elements to her design, and has a money printing press in her storeroom just like Dimitri did in Sly 2.
  • Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission: Las Vegum:
  • Ghost of Tsushima:
    • You can find a headband in the game with the Cooper family cane on it and a sword kit that gives your katana sheath the grey and black stripes of Sly's tail.
    • There's an achievement called "Cooper Clan Cosplayer" earned by wearing aforementioned headband and sword kit, combined with certain blue and gold armor.
    • Two different paintings can be found of a raccoon, hippo, and turtle together.
  • Infamous: Cole has the Cooper logo on his backpack. The first game also has "Sly 4" and "Honor Among Thieves" listed on a cinema marquee in the Neon District, and the Chinese drinks seen on Zeke's card table have the Panda King's face on them.
    • Infamous 2:
      • Cole can use Sly Cooper's cane as a weapon.
      • Zeke reads the Thievius Raccoonus at one point.
    • inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood: There's a movie poster for "Die Cooper 4: Vampire Thieves".
    • inFAMOUS: Second Son has a ton of Sly Cooper references:
      • Delsin himself seems to be a fan of the series, given how his ringtone is the title screen music for Thieves in Time and a Sly mask can be seen on his vest.
      • The news ticker above the NexJen video game store states "Sly Cooper arrested for burglary" and "Sly Cooper wins belching contest", and the "Alter Ego" theme from Thieves in Time can be heard next to it during the "Reggie Takes Flight" mission.
      • The playground at the Seattle Center has multiple murals referencing Sly and the gang littered all over it, and Sly masks can be seen in graffiti all over Seattle.
      • A building owned by the "Cooper & MacGrath" company can be found, complete with a neon Sly mask as part of its logo. There is also a moving van owned by "MacCooper Movers" (complete with the slogan "we TAKE your stuff and move it somewhere else"), and a gas station known as "Panda King Gas".
      • One book in the longhouse is titled "Thievius Raccoonus Vol. #".
  • League of Legends: Twitch's Pickpocket skin is a dead ringer for Sly.
  • Ratchet & Clank (2016): The "Adorable Tauruses" cheat turns all bolts into Sly-like coins with Ratchet's head silhouette imprinted on them.
